Today on a cable television news channel, Air America's Rachel Maddow looked to me visibly "worried", in a discussion on the presidential contest/BHO middle east tour. This article below, googled up, is from last March, but seems to confirm that view. Airing just now, a television ad, "Both Ways Barack". In surveys reported today, Jewish fervor for a Demo presidential candidate has not been lower in a long time, although still predominantly Demo. http://blatherwatch.blogs.com/talk_radio/2008/03/rachel-maddow-m.html ""McCain is going to win. ... Unless something really drastic happens on the Democratic side, I think McCain sails to a big 51% win." Things are happening alright, and it's not uiformly 40 foot slam-dunks. The really big news, "Air America" is still around? BTW, I kind of male chauvinistically find Rachel Maddow likeable and level headed, sober, even handed on t.v. appearances. She doesn't fit stereotypes, does she? (Compare: Hillary Clinton). |
