Crossbowman:"The bully has fun at the expense of his victim."

Or, the food chain just works that way. Do you suggest/want the herbvivores to switch over to eating carnivores? And/or wear skins of lions?

CBM:"Another way to look at this is: unlimited fighting. Same basic idea - the winner's the one who's best at beating people up. If that's what we want, we can go to general and have us a fine ol' knock-down-drag-out and just leave politics out of the mix. Otherwise, I can't see how being better at beating people up actually says anything about the quality of your opinions. "

In the African savannahs, there is not much repose/rest, or obesity, alas.

What is the *superior* alternative to dialectic, then? Very simply, I just think that non-swimmers should move carefully and humbly in the crocodile pools that are over their depth, or else have thick hides.

You know, pretending to be a swimmer in the "evolution" gene pool has been very challenging as well as rewarding to me. Why have I not been "bullied" out of TT Evo? ;O)

How "Socratic" is dialectic?
