"Growing up, I chose butter over margarine for this reason, and even that was was probably a good choice." As a youngster, I attended a boarding school for 5 years. There was no such 'animal' called margarine. I received my pint of full cream milk each morning and about a pound of butter per week. More than 50 years ago, full cream milk, was exactly that. About a third of the bottle of milk was cream. Unreal!
For years, I have used olive oil...not too much butter...lesser amounts of frying with sunflower oil. Try to saute your schnitzel with olive oil & a little butter...delicious. All of the above is negated by my excess smoking & over friendliness with a certain Mr.J. Walker! ;) But, we carry on regardless! http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/7/6/17024/85401/761/547412 Related link: lB=HASH(0x1405b5ac8)- |
