Since this article is 5 years old, maybe that is a safe enough interval to assure/allow believing that the die-off from creatine ingestion is not pronounced. Meanwhile, we can follow the Olympics reports closely, also.

At Wikipedia, I saw that another interesting amino acid, l-arginine, is a biochemical precursor to creatine.

This article says creatine makes you smell bad. Worth it? Arginine, I find, tastes about like the lickings from the inside of an old tubeless tire casing.
