One really does note have to be 'a believer' to notice the sexual preoccupation of a culture. Rome was so over amped on sex that we have fairly accurate info now, many centuries later. Sweden has had a very large porn industry for decades, but has very little sex related crime, and almost no serial sex killing, as per the US. The US is culturally unique, in that a trash culture dominates the lower class, creating a yearly increase in sex crimes and other forms of violence that are never clearly understood because they offer enormous income to law enforcement. The 'law enforcement' industry is doing very well because of the per annum increase in violence. They have a guaranteed stock increase on their line of work and could care less about the alternatives to combat the moral disease. Day dreamers, such as yourself, will always accept the current trend - because it is people such as yourself that make up the status quo. SQers listen to the news and go on with their lives, never questioning the bizarre envelope in which they reside. However,they will always gripe about the statistics that don't fit their fantasy.
