I must have been preoccupied when you and TruthofitAll posted this exchange, Crossbowman.

I agree that much logic is rationally flawed. It is ironic, I think, that at the TT we have not much else but logic by which to communicate what we each discover of rationality.

That we have to perform a trick to recognize the difference between the rational and the merely logical is mostly, I believe, because we confuse symbols, in this case words, for what our seniors invented the words to re-present (and struggled to have recognized as common experiences).

Do we ever have common experiences? I think that, if we had not invented words, we might either believe that all of our experiences were common or that none of them were, but perhaps, sans words, this idea might never have "crossed" any mind!
