Angus: "Is it necessary to point out that "going to the moon" was a religion in that it became a presumption upon which everyone called into the program relied?

If Kennedy had not chosen "moon religion", he would have had to have chosen another. The positive about "going to the moon" was that it evoked the use of a lot of technical rationality, and a little relationship rationality.

We now need religions that would evoke much more relationship rationality.

CF: "Going to the moon is not a religion. Evolution is not a religion. You are so caught up in linguistics you can't control your semantics or cliches."

Possibly. Nonetheless, Sir Pure Blue-Free-Kay, on a second reading, can you concede that we would benefit from a semantic superstructure built on foundations designed to channel the emoto-linguistic energy we have away from religiously stoked apartheids and toward co-operative endeavours that avoid polluting our planetary nest either materially or metaphysically?
