Your irregular, but repetitive, use of capitalization and exclamation marks makes me feel like I'm being jabbed in the soft meat between my shoulder, collarbone, and ribcage. It's unpleasantly irritating. I consider the "creative" use of capitalization and punctuation to be a poor substitute for the real art of poetry, which is to choose words carefully and arrange them in powerful, meaningful phrases. I've never responded to Brother Rabbit, but this response applies to his work. I sincerely feel it's poor writing. A sensitive reader can't get past it. It's like asking a jazz aficionado to listen to this new grunge tune you've written. The fact that you've got two distortion pedals between your low-B seven-string and your Marshall stack just automatically precludes any possibility of hir enjoying your song. All that noise just makes the melody harder to decipher, which makes one assume that, underneath, it's probably a mediocre melody.
Best wishes,
JulieD.
