• Introduction.
    Why I bothered.

  • The Newest Revelation, written by Jek in 1997.
An email sent to me by a close friend. I'm lucky to have ever gotten a... I guess you could call this a love letter.

  • Slice of Life, written by Ron in July of 2001.
A story about leaving for a new job several years ago, when I changed everything.  My advice to others: Don't be conservative and afraid to try something new, especially if you're unhappy.  Change!  Move out of town, quit your job, whatever it takes.  You only have 1 life.

  • A coming-out letter actually sent to conservative Roman Catholic parents
The results? Well, nothing really. Disapproval, but then, there was always disapproval--for one reason or another. Nothing new. Thus, to some gays, I would advise, lie to your parents. They may not value honesty one whit (like most people), and when they die you could be poorer for being an honest fool.

  • A poem Remi sent me after witnessing a rare spat
But really, how can 2 people live together without a little disagreement once in a while?

  • The Truth Tree Mascot
Also known as Victoria, who lives with us. Here is the low-down on her.She likes to sleep on our recently worn clothing. She gets peeved when we're gone for more than a few hours. And if we're gone a few days, she goes completely wacko - like, forgets where to go potty. (I hope she doesn't read this.) But, hey. . .that behavior means that she likes us. Maybe she loves us. Who knows what emotions a cat is capable of? Or what emotions a cat owner is capable of reading into his cat?
