Role Overview
We’re looking for an SEO Specialist who is ready to lead organic strategy efforts across a diverse and growing client base. You will be responsible for developing and implementing technical, on-page, and off-page SEO strategies that drive visibility, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and optimize SEO strategies to improve rankings, traffic, and site performance
- Conduct keyword research and implement findings across web pages and blog content
- Perform technical SEO audits and recommend site structure improvements
- Create and manage link-building campaigns
- Monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure best practices are implemented
- Track KPIs and generate performance reports with actionable insights
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and tools
- Contribute to high-quality, search-optimized content, including metadata, landing pages, and blog posts
- Lead efforts to align SEO strategy with broader marketing goals
Who You Are
- Experienced & SEO-Savvy – At least 2 year of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably within an agency setting or across multiple clients
- Detail-Oriented & Analytical – You love diving into data, identifying areas for improvement, and testing new approaches
- Collaborative & Clear Communicator – You can explain SEO strategies clearly to both internal teams and clients
- Independent & Strategic Thinker – You’re proactive in identifying issues and proposing effective solutions
- Education Marketing Familiarity – Bonus points if you’ve worked in the education marketing space
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of ranking factors, search engine algorithms, and mobile SEO
- Strong writing/editing skills for metadata and on-page content
- Experience in education marketing or with school-based clients is highly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: Starting at $45,000 (for U.S.-based employees)
- For international applicants, compensation will be adjusted based on local cost of living and market standards
