The Role
We’re hiring a Sales Strategist to drive new business growth for our digital marketing services.
Responsible for:
- Building pipeline
- Leading sales conversations
- Presenting solutions
- Closing deals
What You’ll Do
Drive New Business
- Prospect and engage new school partners (outbound + inbound)
- Build and manage a consistent, healthy pipeline
- Help us break into new markets, specifically higher education and international regions
Lead Sales Conversations
- Book, run, and follow up on discovery calls to understand goals, challenges, and current marketing efforts
- Identify gaps and opportunities
- Position Truth Tree’s services clearly and confidently
Present & Close
- Deliver tailored recommendations along with our standard prospectus
- Communicate ROI, expected outcomes, and strategic value
- Navigate multi-stakeholder decisions and objections
- Close new business consistently
Collaborate Internally
- Partner with the Director of Marketing and Sales and the executive team
- Ensure smooth handoff post-sale
- Share market feedback to help refine positioning and offerings
Hit Targets
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly benchmarks
- Increase average deal size over time
- Contribute to overall company growth
Who This Is For

You likely have experience in:
- Digital marketing sales (agency or SaaS)
- Consultative B2B sales
- Selling into education or mission-driven organizations (a plus, not required)
Requirements
- 2+ years in sales in B2B sales, preferably in the edtech space
- Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM
- Proven ability to manage a pipeline and close business
- Unmatched communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate marketing services into business value
Nice to Have
Experience working with schools or education organizations
Experience selling digital marketing products or services to schools and or educational organizations
Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools
